Check out this Black20 (not racist) news report on the word Hipster. It is a fairly worthless segment as they circle around the question they've asked and never come close to an answer. The one redeeming part of this clip is when Gavin (founder of Vice) has a revelation at 5:40 min into the video. Ah, to be a parody of oneself and to realize it. My question to all these hipster kids is - in 20 years when your kids are 15 years old, are they going to think the pictures of you they found online in your now dormant Facebook profile are actually cool? Remember how cool your parents looked when they first started banging in the 70's and early 80's? We'll never have that.
